Monocle Mirror

Description

A single dark lens found on a city sidewalk inspired our Monocle Collection. Eyeglass lenses, and similarly Side-view mirrors usually come in pairs with a Left and a Right.

Shapes that are organic yet engineered for a specific purpose: looking through, seeing behind, focusing in and reflecting. On their own and removed from the context we see them in a different light.

A band of solid brass or stainless steel, suspended from two pegs on a wall, partially frames the lens-like form in a sling to provide curiously flattering self-reflection.
